Jack's First Christmas Morning

Finally...I was waiting for a video off of Ben's I-phone to finish this blog post.

Jack was playing upstairs in his room with his tool bench that Grandpa and Sherry gave him the night before.

Time to open stockings

Sippy cup with his name on it

a new wubanub and sun glasses to wear on his strolls

Puffs to snack on and pacifier wipes
After we opened stockings, we had breakfast...sausage, egg, cheese casserole and sausage patties.  Yum.  It was Jack's nap time so it was perfect timing....we ate while he slept.

This is the video of Jack opening his present from Uncle Danny and Jacquelynn:

After Christmas at home, we went over to KK and Papa's to have Christmas with Ben's family.  Jack took a nap on KK during most of the present opening.

Merry Christmas 2 months late!

Christmas Part 2

Christmas Eve we went to my dad and Sherry's house.  Nanny and Papa and the Pinkstons were also there.  We started off with crackers and a cheese ball that was super yummy.  Then we had our traditional Christmas dinner...ham, cheesy potato casserole and so on and so forth.  Jack sat in his high chair as we all ate dinner.

Then it was present time.  This was Jack's first time to open any presents.  The first present he opened was a tool bench that lights up and has sound.  Jack loves playing with it.

Jack seemed to have fun...he enjoyed playing with the bows and we'd give him a piece of wrapping paper to pull off.  He got lots of cute things and even took a little nap.

After presents we had a huge amount of desserts to choose from.  Yummy pies and cookies.  It was getting late (7:30pm) so we headed home to start our family traditions.

When we got home we went straight over to our advent wreath so that we could light week 4's candle.  Then Ben took Jack upstairs and got him ready for bed in  his Christmas Pj's while I got the milk and cookies ready for us to put out for Santa.
